I did dishes today... how's that for a switch?!

Becca and I are now able to take turns with the dishes/ laundry duties because we have spent the past couple of weeks rearranging the hovel! Zion and I took over Brandon's room, and Brandon's toys have moved into what was our room. We also moved the couch that was in Brandon's playroom into our old bedroom, as well as left our love seat in that room, creating a second family room or a den if you will. (I might try and post some pictures on another day...)

Becca and I spent most of the day entering new items onto Love and Learn's website; I was on the phone with my mom much of the day getting the items from her.

Friday, we all went to the Potter's for dinner, they made us a fabulous fried chicken dinner complete with mashed potatoes, (or 'spuds' if you happen to be from Arkansas...) corn, green beans and for desert, a delicious chocolate cake with chocolate frosting a la mode (that's French meaning 'with style' which for me translates to with ice cream!!) It was so yummy!!!

After dinner, we spent some time with the Potter family (see church pictures below) just getting to know them a bit better, hanging out, looking at scrapbooks/pictures(always fun!) and fellowshipping together. It was a lot of fun and they are a very sweet little family.

[Israel]Evil Republicans come from Arkansas. Many Haliburton employees actually still live in Arkansas. If you think Arkansas isn't run by Dick Cheney's hunting buddies, then you probably think former Miss Arkansas Hillary Clinton isn't a hottie and you should probably have your pulse checked.[/Israel]

I never thought I would say this, but I am enjoying doing laundry! After doing the dishes for 10 months, it's a nice little change in the routine!

At least you guys can share chores.(hmmm, maybe Jess and I could work something out here!)=)

Sounds like a very yummy dinner at the Potters. Was making me hungry while I was reading it, in fact!! Doesn't get much better than fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and choc. cake!!!!!

I always love doing dishes... (rolls eyes)... not really, but it is nice to get a break from the laundry gig after 10 months of doing everybodys laundry!!

Sharing is fine...but you are doing twice as much of the one chore and it gets kinds old after a while...I personnaly think I would stick with doing all of it for only my little family if I were you :o)

I think you're right, Becca. The variety is probably what makes it bearable! So Jess, no deal after all, I guess.=)

Do you guys know that it was in the 70's today and it's suppossed to SNOW??????? tomorrow? How crazy is that?!!!! Yo-yo weather for sure. I hope that Easter is at least kind of warm. Kind of ruins the Springy dress effect when it's freezing!

Hahaha, yeah, you gotta love those Easter Sunday's when you have to wear your heavy winter coat over your new spring Easter dress. What a drag...

Here in Tucson, the weather doesn't change that much month to month... har de har har- what a joke... but it does fluctuate 20 degrees between shade and sun... and night versus day is even worse!
