I'm sick.... again. I have another cold. I don't know what's up with this, but this is my 4th cold since moving to Arizona. It's weird. I used to only get a cold about once a year. Since moving, I have lost my voice completely, two times. I am on my way to having that happen again, and I don't know what to do to prevent it. =(

I saw a picture in Sports Illustrated of the snow falling on the baseball players in Cleveland during opening day. Great! Nothing beats that.

Suggestions for avoiding colds:

Maybe you should go to Sabino Canyon and exercise so that you can build up your immune system.

(BTW we finished buying the condo and we still don't have a renter, so you guys still have a chance if you're still interested. We put down a huge down payment so the monthly mortage going to be somewhat cheaper than expected.)

Or maybe you could go to Alaska and live in an igloo with the Eskimos, because I hear they rately catch colds.

We already told you what we could reasonably afford to spend on rent each month. The ball is in your court.

Hey! Not to change the subject or anything but did you get my message that I got my insurance license? Woohooo! I passed my test! I left you a message this morning but haven't heard back from you.

I didn't hear your message, but great job!! That's very exciting news! I knew you could do it!!! =)

Ummm!!!

Nobody told me what you could afford to pay each month.

I'm pretty sure I would have remembered that.

So feel free to remind me...

Has anybody actually bought anything off the Love & Learn website?

I am going to a baby shower this weekend and we need to buy something.

Do you sell gift cards?

I don't wanna use my credit card cuz Zion and Jariah might go on a spending spree...

Israel said...

I can't make it work...

Sharla said...

Oh great. Zion and Jariah! The thing is supposed to WORK!! C'mon!

And yes, we do have gift cards, but considering the trouble you are experiencing with the website, I have very little confidence the cards could be used on the site. And since it is not too likely your baby shower gift recipients will be visiting Perrysburg in the very near future, Im not sure it would be a great idea yet. Thanks for trying though. The guys have only been seriously working on it for a few months and it IS getting better all the time.

Which reminds me, Shan, we just got in some really nice Aurora baby blankets and bibs that can be embroideried with the new baby's name and there are matching bears and pull toys and everything. It's the God Bless Baby line, it's in the store and I love to see it on the webpage. :)

Israel, the website isn't Firefox compatible yet. I can't use it either.

The dad is a white guy from some place in Ohio, Dayton I think, and the Mom is Jewish.

How about a little yamulka (sp?) beanie with a cross on it?

You got any of those?

Jeshanah said...

Beanies? We don't sell beanies. And I believe that the only religious stuff she has is Christian. We aren't "politically correct", but as a small business owner, we don't have to be. There are even Scriptures on the walls. *gasp*

That's a joke Jeshanah.

A Jewish person would probably be horribly insulted by the product I just described. They are not that fond of the whole cross thing you know...

I really like your line of "I did laundry today shirts"

How a about one for me...

I think a "Republicans are stupid!" shirt would be a huge seller.

Jeshanah said...

I'm not going to do that shirt, but I am sure you can get it somewhere if you really think it's necessary.

Jeshanah said...

Oh, and uhhh... we love you, too! =P

Hope you feel better soon, Shan. The same thing has happened to me since I came to Ohio; I seem to get colds alot more than when I lived in AZ! The kids are definately sick more.=( Oh well....I'd say just eat some chocolate!! It might not help your cold, but it'll sure make you feel better overall!!;)

I guess there are different strands of cold viruses in different parts of the country so I haven't built up an immunity to alot of them here yet. I'm no doctor, but I guess that kinda makes sense.

That's a great idea, Sarah, to eat more chocolate!! Chocolate does seem to have some sort of magical healing powers... I'm not sure if there is a scientific explanation behind it, but it does definitely make a person feel better!!! =)

By the way, Sharla, we did see the movie "Amazing Grace" and it was really good!! Very inspiring! (I decided I'd better post this comment over here, even though you mentioned it on the other one. I didn't think I was quite tough enough for the 'ghetto' yet! :)

ROFL, Sarah!!!

I was hoping to "Change the tone" in the ghetto by going off topic to Amazing Grace. It didn't happen. Oh well.
I'm glad to hear you saw it and liked it. Now I really want to go see it!
As far as that big barking dog in the ghetto goes, it's like I've been telling you, his bark is worse than his bite. Come on in, you'll be fine. ;)
