OK, I wasn't really dragged, it was my idea, lemme explain.... Sometime in March, my brother Jariah called and said we should all move to Columbus(2 hours away) so the guys could get better jobs. I said that's a great idea, but lets go to Tucson(36 hours away) instead!! (Zion's been wanting to for years.) Everything worked out really fast, so two months later, we were on our way!

I need help deciding on a stroller.... unfortunately, I haven't found a purple one or even an affordable lime green one, so these are the two top choices. I need feedback!! Thanks!
I personally like Option B because it has more of that chocolate brown color which I really like, and I agree with Sharla; it does look more like you!(plus it's cheaper, which is always rather nice!)
This is Jess...I would have to see them in real life 1st,because which is easier to manipulate with one hand? Since that will all you will have available!!!
Zion and I both tried option A at the store, and we really liked the way it worked. Unfortunately, Option B isn't available at the store... but it looks like it has the same one handed closure thing to me. I do like the way option B looks better, it seems like a better color combo for me. Becca says I could probably order it and if we don't like the way it works, just return it to Babies R Us and get the other one.
i suggest that if you found a lime green one that is unaffordable you need to talk to your rich friends and family members and take up a donation for the lime green one. By the way i said take up a donation from your rich friends and family which totally excludes me. sorry
Hmmm. Aunt Barb did say they would all want to send you something for a shower gift if you can't even get to come home. I could talk to the whole family about just getting whatever one you want.
Plus those huge strollers are worthless if you want to take the kid on the airplane.
You want something that folds as flat as possible so that you can lift it and fit it in the trunk with one hand.
I would always zip by people in their huge, heavy unwieldy $300 strollers and just laugh.
Unless you like to waste money, just go to target and/or walmart look at all the best cheaper strollers and buy the one that is easiest to open and close. No way should you spend more than $60.
First of all, those things are breeze to open and close, I do it by myself with no problems: weak little woman that I am ;op
Second, they are much nicer when the baby falls asleep in the car, you don't wake them up to go in somewhere. OR if you are in a cold climate, which might be the case for some of Shan and Zion's kids you don't have to unbundled them out of the car seat and re-bundle them in the stroller. I have seen a lot of people traveling by plane with them.
Thirdly, $300 is not that much when you use it for more than one child and the ones that Shan is looking at are not even that expensive and not as bulky as you seem to think they are. I maneuver through aisle all the time.
I say since you've waited 8 years to have a baby so you could afford it, and if it's important to you, which I know it is, get which ever one you want. Becca's right, and a good one will last through more than one child.
In that case, maybe you should go ahead and get one of those $15,000 J-Lo buggy strollers so your kid won't be embarrassed as you stroll down Rodeo drive.
What the heck, it's only money!
And Tiffany makes the best silver rattles...

I'd rather buy a cheaper stroller put the extra $200 in my kids 529 account so he'll be able to afford college when he's 18, but I'm silly that way...
Exactly what kind of stroller are you suggesting, Israel? An umbrella stroller? I don't know what you are talking about,(not that that's anything new, I usually don't get you...) but if you are just suggesting an umbrella stroller, then I really don't get you because a baby can't even sit in one of those until it can hold it's own head up.
No not an umbrella stroller, a nice Cosco stroller w/ an adjustable head thing in the back so he can lay down when he's younger and sit up when he's older. (See how I'm already declaring him male.) We got one of those and it was awesome! You can take it anywhere and it's really fast easy to fit in the trunk. If you want something fancier-looking get the Eddie Bauer signature edition. It's the same stroller but it has an EB on it and it comes in festive colors for fashionable moms and dads.
We never got the big combo stroller (maybe they're great and worth every cent) but lots of our friends that bought those complained about them later and said they wished they would have gone for something smaller and lighter.

You will find that lots of stuff you buy for the babies and kids will turn out to be pretty much worthless.
We still have one of those training toilets that was never even used once. Other stuff gets used a few times and then just takes up space.
And the sad thing is that Goodwill and Salvation army don't even take baby stuff even if it's brand new.
Luckily we got a lot of our stuff second-hand from Christine's sister after her kids out-grew them. People are very happy to get rid of this stuff because it just takes up space in the garage after a while.
Yeah they are called umbrella strollers I guess but there are some pretty nice ones.
You won't be wrapping up your baby too much in Arizona and if you go to Ohio I doubt you wanna put your nice expensive stroller on the plane so they can bang it around and drag it on the dirty tarmac.
Something like this Jeep stroller 59.99 at Walmart. Just make sure you get one with a reclining back and that you personally try the one handed open feature before you buy so you make sure it's easy.
Out of the two that you chose, I like Option B the best in color. But the ease of use is a major determining factor.
However, I think Jeshuga Hornsapple's uncle Israel has chosen well! Say that fast a few times... the baby might be named Heshuga Jornsapple before it is all over. The pink and gray stroller is certainly less costly and cute too! Now Levi or Zane may not like pink at first, but it will grow on them!
Also remember that given your size and Zion's size your baby is likely to be HUGE and it will probably not fit in a snap-and-go type car carrier after six months.
You should buy the smaller stroller first since you will need one anyway and if you don't absolutely love it you can always buy a HUGE one later.
Plus, if you are gonna spend over $200 on a stroller it should be fabulous and (match your super expensive lime green and purple plates) or at least make some kind of fashion statement.
Both of those strollers you showed us are (yawn!) pretty underwhelming looks, color and pattern-wise.
Maybe we could just design one especially for you, rich plum cotton velveteen with gold medieval flourishes, bronze metal handles, sage green velveteen lining, maybe a delicate lavendar castle hand painted inside the canopy! I can see it. And NOTHING is too good for Libby ANNE!! (Anne, being my namesake, for those of you who don't know) ;)

Option B looks brighter and more fun, therefore I think it's you!

Better to do it months in advance then just a few weeks before the baby is due. That way you'll be 100% sure you got the one you really want.
I like the bright color of Option B, but in case it's a boy he might prefer Option A - it's a bit more neutral.
Either on is nice. Yes, Jess has a good point - which one is the most manageable...?
Yeah - that really helped didnt' it? :)

Who cares what it looks like.
Being able to operate and open it with one hand is the most important feature of all.
You need something that is cheap, light, sturdy yet small enough to zip through crowded store isles.
Forget those fancy expensive SUV strollers those are for people who just want to show off and they aren't very maneuverable.
Also easy to clean and a color that hides dirt well, because it will eventually end up filthy.
Both of those are ridiculously expensive.
My advice?
Spend your money on a good adjustable car seat, not one that hooks up to a heavy stroller.
Just take the baby out and put him in a decent good looking relatively cheap stroller that costs hundreds less.
Those things are hard to snap in and out and will be too heavy for most females to handle. Plus the baby will outgrow it.
If you want one of those snap in and out things ask your relatives and friends who have kids that have outgrown there strollers.
We are still using perfectly good car seats supplied by relatives.
Plus those huge strollers are worthless if you want to take the kid on the airplane.

$200 is hardly the same as $15,000. Don't be such a drama queen!

Looks cool. It's pink so it only works for girls and hermaphrodites but I think Jeshuga Hornsapple might like it...
