For my birthday, Zion took me out to eat at one of my all time favorite restaurants, "Bob Evans", for their ultimate WildFire Chicken Salad (which I have been craving for months...) He had to get a little creative because the closest Bob Evans is about 1800 miles away, so he found the recipe online and had Becca make it for me.

Zion took me out for about an hour (we went to Babies R Us and got a couple of things that I had coupons for off our registry) and then he said we had a reservation for lunch at a great restaurant. He drove me back to the homestead where Jariah and Becca had created "Bob Evans" just for me!!! (Complete with a sign and everything!!!) ) It was so cute, and the food was quite delicious. (Not quite the real thing, but pretty darn close!!!)

Wow! Becca and maybe Jariah? worked HARD! That sign is pretty impressive and so is the look of the food. You look like you're blossoming Shan! You look beautiful in that color. Hope your special day was as fun as it looks.
Love you.

That's pretty awesome.

But (I'll be honest) the only reason I'm posting is to congratulate Justin on his win over Israel in their fantasy football league. The old, washed up, semi-retired, probably Republican, white-dude (Brett Favre) can still bring it.

Yeah. It only took Farve's greatest game ever for Justin to beat me.

Farve sure didn't he bring it last week against the Chargers, but this week, he's superman.

I'm guessing all the Holsapples were praying super hard for Justin's Fantasy football team all week.

The old white dude Farve, threw six TD passes, the best game of his looooong career but it still wasn't good enough to beat the record of 7 TD passes set by Mexican QB Joe Kapp for the Vikes in 1969. And it didn't take him almost 300 starts to do it either.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it...

*putting in pipe*

Kapp isn't the sole holder of that 7 TD record.

Here's his career stats (accumulated over 19 years):

TD-INT - 40-64
Yards - 5,911
QB Rating - 55.1

He might be able to start for the Raiders...

I was not praying super hard for a silly football game (that I wasn't even aware of) but I must admit I was quite tickled to hear Justin had beaten you! :)
Justin could beat you in a real football game too. He's quite the athlete and played football in high school.

Lol. Justin said you'd try to say something about it being a fluke or not fair or something. ANYTHING except be a good sport about it! He's pretty smart about things like that. :)

Hey I congratulated Justin that's sporting enough, isn't it?

What else does he want? A cookie?

I picked eighth yet my team has more points than any other team in the league so I have the best team in the league right now.

Justin has the third most points but he's been really lucky a couple times so he's undefeated. I think it'll take Farve throwing 6 tds every week for Justin to have the best team in the league and I doubt that will happen.

And if Kapp's career numbers are low it's cuz they didn't give him any Mexicans to throw to and because he played for the sorry Vikings.

Darn ANGLO-SAXON vikings always have to ruin a good thing. Unless all men are created EQUAL.

If they were the "Illegal Aliens" they'd be unstoppable. The Vikings get across the goal line once and then they die out and brag about how they were there first.
