They are building a new SuperWalMart right across the street and making that two lane into five lanes! I can get a good lease right now for what I expect will turn out to be a very high traffic area! So not only are they paying taxes, but they aren't filing returns. They do not get the chance to claim their children as dependents, or qualify for an earned income tax credit. So they are contributing above and beyond what the average U.S. citizen is.
As far as white women on welfare, Israel and I have had this discussion before (on fantasy football of all places). True, there are more whites on welfare than blacks (38.8 percent to 37 percent). But as Sharla correctly pointed out, blacks make up a significantly smaller portion of the population, so there is a greater percentage of the black population on welfare than there is of the white population.
Another interesting statistic is that Hispanics, which now outnumber blacks in the U.S., only make up 17.8 percent of the welfare rolls, less than half that of the blacks -- another blow to the illegal immigrants on welfare myth.

And there's the rub. The current immigration system is so convoluted that it is easier to risk your life trying to sneak across the border than it is to try to jump through the countless hoops in place.
Another thing that many people fail to consider is that tightened enforcement on the border actually increases the number of illegal immigrants who remain in the country.
It used to be that when migrant workers entered the U.S., they would remain here for the season, then return to Mexico until the next growing season. After a few years of doing this, and after they had started to put down roots in the U.S., learn to speak English, and mesh into society, then they might decide to stay. But many traveled back and forth for many generations.
Now, with tightened security and minuteman patrols and whatnot (not to mention a surplus of unscrupulous coyotes) it has become so dangerous to try to cross over that, once in the U.S., they are hesitant to return to Mexico. The wall keeps more people in than it keeps out.

Of course, the house that we live in ON Gomer road is actually pretty nice, ridiculously big, the yard is fantastic and we are out in the country. So, all in all, I guess we are blessed to live on Gomer road. :)

and just for the record i dont care who is on welfare i just wish that those that werent legal citizen/residents of the good old USA couldnt legally get government fund/my tax money and as long as they can legally i they are welcome to it but i dont agree with the fact that they are allowed to get it when they arent allowed to be here

You say "your tax money" while ignoring the fact that they pay taxes too, and, as I mentioned before, collect welfare benefits at a far smaller percentage than other groups.
well not mine just taxes in general i say we should have open borders that is what this country was founded on but i also believe they should do it legally
And there's the rub. The current immigration system is so convoluted that it is easier to risk your life trying to sneak across the border than it is to try to jump through the countless hoops in place.
Another thing that many people fail to consider is that tightened enforcement on the border actually increases the number of illegal immigrants who remain in the country.
It used to be that when migrant workers entered the U.S., they would remain here for the season, then return to Mexico until the next growing season. After a few years of doing this, and after they had started to put down roots in the U.S., learn to speak English, and mesh into society, then they might decide to stay. But many traveled back and forth for many generations.
Now, with tightened security and minuteman patrols and whatnot (not to mention a surplus of unscrupulous coyotes) it has become so dangerous to try to cross over that, once in the U.S., they are hesitant to return to Mexico. The wall keeps more people in than it keeps out.
So what you are saying is, they need to "tear down that wall..." so to speak.

The real reason why the illegals
are paying taxes is to start a paper trail so when they try to become citizens they can show how responsible they've been. I AM mortified to live on Gomer Rd. Even around here where everyone should be used to it, they ask me and I have to spell it, I always just say, yes, Gomer, like Gomer Pyle.
I think they do that on purpose!
Of course, the house that we live in ON Gomer road is actually pretty nice, ridiculously big, the yard is fantastic and we are out in the country. I think Shan and Becca felt pretty SAFE while they were here, I didn't notice anyone staying inside with the curtains closed or anything! So, all in all, I guess we are blessed to live on Gomer road. :)

I don't think I've seen more than one episode, and I don't remember exactly what he said be he was one goofy dude...
But then he had a big music career where he sang like some classically trained opera singer, so that was a weird contrast.
