Today we are baking, and I don't mean cake!!! The hovel is a whopping 89 degrees inside right now. It's miserable.

Also, last night I was bit at least 4 times by some kind of bug (probably red ants) so my legs are all itchy with giant red bumps that are driving me insane.

I'm so glad that we get to move out of the hovel in the next few weeks into a beautiful apartment with lovely grounds where they have air conditioning and they spray every two weeks for bugs. I can't wait!!! =)

yeah it is a great place, I just wish it wasn't so far from work. Although the good thing is, since we moved up there i found a 3rd carpool buddy, so that may help.

I am counting the days with you since staying in the hovel. I don't know how you get through the afternooons without leaving like we did everyday. You should post a countdown for the days until moving day. :)

Yeah, well we are exactly 2 weeks away today!!!! And we CAN'T wait!!!!

Today felt like the hottest day so far to me...or maybe it's just the pregnancy. All I know is that it drains the energy right out of you!!!

guess what?!? It rained here yesterday!!! Last night we were actually cold! It was GREAT!!! John had to get up around 4am and close the windows and turn down the fans. Wonderful times.

I was out mowing the yard today. PERFECT weather! Low seventies, gentle breezes, took a break on the yard swing. Heavenly! Wish you were here :)

Well, you know we really do wish you were here, all of you. We want you all to wish you were here too, so that someday, once again, you will be. :)

You mean to tell me that the hovel doesn't have ANY air cond. or even a swamp cooler????? I didn't know it was possible to live in Tucson without one!!! How in the world do you guys stand it? Wow! I guess you are anxious to move! What has the temperature been?

There is a swamp cooler in the hovel, it's just pathetic and doesn't do much good. Also, the house has very little (if any) insulation making what little coolness generated by the cooler ineffective.
