Happy Anniv.

I remember Zion's bachelors party ending up at the Brooks sometime around midnight. Then we all stayed up till...what?...3 AM watching Toy Story 2.

Good times.

Nothing says bachelor party like Steak and Shake and Toy Story 2... gotta love message guys. =)

Isn't that the truth! How thankful we should be for our wonderful message men! Real men, decent men who still have honor in today's dark world. How we should appreciate each one of them!

Decent man? I'm more greatful for a decent wonderful woman. This has certainy been a more interesting anniversary than most, with me losing my job and all. Which I think is a huge blessing in disguise.

Here is to 8 wonderful years!

Love you too honey!

I knew you would get out of the rat race one way or another ;o)

It sounds like the job loss thing was a set up to me. You'll be fine. God has a plan for your life, When He closes a door, He'll open a window.

ROFL Justin! That one cracked Jariah and I up.

What?!

What happened?

You just showed up one day and discovered that your job wasn't there anymore?

Does this mean you'rer moving back to Ohio?

What about health insurance for when the baby is born and after? Are you just gonna have it at the house? Do they offer coverage at least through birth?

I guess if the baby is Republican it won't have any need for socialized" medicine but you'd better check "access" just in case...

I for one, HOPE they can move back to Ohio, but it's not like we have an abundance of jobs here right now or anything, so I dunno, I guess we'll see what works out.
Zion said a couple days ago that since Jariah left, they seemed to be gunning for him or something. They tried to get him last week on something they drummed up, called him in to the office, but that didn't hold up, so they came up with something else a couple days later. They even called him Jariah when they were firing him! It stinks, cause he had been getting even better reviews than Jariah was, even little awards for doing such a good job.

Hmm... sounds like he might need a good labor law attorney...

One month you're runner up employee of the month, and a couple weeks later you're fired. What a retarded system!

I wish we were moving back, (shocker there, I know) but unfortunately I have no idea what's going to happen or when. I do however know that in a little under 3 months, I'm going to have a baby.... it's all kind of unsettling; but that's my life since we moved to Arizona. We never know where we are going to live, what we are going to do, or apparently, if we are even going to have a job. It's certainly an adventure!!! ;)

Life is always an adventure - and Zion's job loss will lead to something much better for him. God has something else in mind for him!

But I know that when you have a baby coming, you would like a little less excitement in major life changes, so that you can focus on the baby!

We (Sharla and I and some other friends) saw Sarah Palin at a rally in OHIO today and it was so much fun! There were 6,000 Ohioians who are intelligent enough to vote for the McCain/Palin ticket - all assembled together in one place!

Lots of families who brought their children to see the woman who believes and states that the election is in God's hands. If they are supposed to be in office at this time, it will happen.

I also have to say that the "first dude" is definitely a nice man, a gentleman. He seems very supportive of Sarah, which she will certainly need when she is elected to office.

I don't know whats gonna happen Israel. I've started my own business. I'm trying to get that off the ground, and we are going to either pay for COBRA or apply for Ahccs. I'm looking into both options right now.

It was kind of a shock to me too. I'm doing great, then all of a sudden they launch these "investigations" on me. 2 in 1 week. The first one couldn't stick, so they drummed up another one. Then I got fired.

I think its all politics, but I don't think its something I could ever prove.

The timing is just so suspicious. They still have my picture on the wall for highest adherence in the call center last year, and I was runner up for employee of the month last month. Suddenly Jariah leaves and they get rid of me the next week?

They have a reputation for firing people they think will quit soon. And I'm pretty sure they all thought I was going to quit.

They even called me "Jariah" when they were firing me.

Unfortunately its nothing I can prove, and the way they have their system setup, they can fire anyone rather quickly because no one can be perfect on every call they take. Once they put a telescope on you, they'll find something.

What this means now is that I have the freedom to pursue new ways of making money. In alot of ways I'm excited, and alot ways I'm scared. I think we will be ok though. My main concern is the insurance, but we will have enough to cover that.

Jeshanah is right. This sure is an adventure.

Why did Jariah quit?

Patrick seems to be doing something drumming up business for direct TV.

Maybe you can check on that.

Meantime maybe that call center that Danny's wife works for.

Jariah left cause he was going to be fired anyways too,

and he wanted to go back to Ohio.

Israel,

That idea of yours is BRILLIANT. That is why I signed up for that Direct TV, cell phone thing a few days before I was fired.

By the way, you should see the video phone. It's awesome. Click on the Zion's business link on the main page of this blog.
