Saturday, the 14th, we all went up Mt. Lemon and spent the day hiking and enjoying the views. It was actually kind of cold, we needed jackets or sweatshirts, but I was the only one who had thought ahead and brought one. I kept trying to use it to cover Brandon with, but he wanted nothing to do with it!! (Too girlie, I guess...)

Anyway, we had fun and here are some pictures...

It's also an Arizona thing to be broken out so bad that you won't allow photos that show your face to be posted on the net... that is why you only see me from behind. =) It's the life.

Jariah has gained 10 pounds since we moved here...I keep trying to convince him to get on a diet, but he won't hear of it...Zion told him: "Welcome to my world!" last week...hehe

Jariah! Remember how determined you were to never get heavy!! Watch out! It is MUCH harder to take it off than not gain it to start with.

Brandon looks TOO CUTE. I just want to squeeze him.

When I saw your brothers last, they both looked like candidates for the Zoolander "male model of the year award."

Looks like somebody is going to be put out of contention by a protruding gut muscle.

That's why I'm glad that I have never been good looking or in good shape. I don't even think I have these "ab thingies" people are always talking about.

Because if I had been good looking, I think it would be really depressing to look down and see how much I'd let myself go.

That's why it's good to have always been fat and ugly. No regrets cuz you don't know any different.

Jariah has been used to a lot more physical activity than he is doing now...He is sitting at a desk all day and when he gets home he plays with Brandon , but it's really not much compared to construction!

Take it from a life long fattie:

Do something now!!!

Don't let him eat fast food.

Don't make him fatty foods and tell him not to eat late at night.

Stop feeding him Reindeer Blubber, or Whale fat or Walrus gristle or whatever you Canadians eat.

No fried twinkies, gummint cheeze or 1/2 pound bricks of butter. Snickers wrapped in pancakes are absolutely out. Tell him to stay away from the vending machine burritos as they will turn his colon inside out.

He cannot eat like he ate when he did construction. (This new diet will probably help clear up Jeshanah's mystery complexion problems too.)

Maybe he can still be a male model if you stage an intervention.

I have to say he eats well, the food he eats if fairly healthy, except for the occasional desert and the fact that does not like vegetables all that much. I think the real problem is portion control. He told me himself to start giving him smaller portions.

I eat healthier now than I did before, because I used to eat out alot more than I have since we moved. (I'm talking Taco Bell like 4 times a week, the drive thru guy knew me...) And Becca and I have been taking turns making home-cooked meals that are much, much healthier than that!!
