OK, I wasn't really dragged, it was my idea, lemme explain.... Sometime in March, my brother Jariah called and said we should all move to Columbus(2 hours away) so the guys could get better jobs. I said that's a great idea, but lets go to Tucson(36 hours away) instead!! (Zion's been wanting to for years.) Everything worked out really fast, so two months later, we were on our way!

OUCH!!! Help!! My baby is trying to kill me!!! He has bitten me 4 times today and I don't know what to do!!!! The last time made me bleed!! Any tips??! He has his 2 bottom teeth and he knows how to use 'em!!! ACK!!!
Miah likes to bite us...our shoulders of all places! When he does it, I'll say no (He's old enough to know better...and he knows what no means, not sure if Lincoln is old enough ----??) But if he does it again I take my index finger and tap his mouth and say no....not enough that it hurts him, but enough that he knows what he is doing wrong.
Doesnt help that when he was getting his first teeth in, my MIL would put her fingers in his mouth and let him bite her!!! Grrrrr.....even after I asked her to stop!
Ouch!!! The biting is absolutely horrible!! I know just how you feel!!! At least with both my boys it took a little longer for the teeth to come in... I always just pulled a little bit of hair, right behind the ear. Not enough to make them cry, but enough so they register a bit of pain. After a few of times, Brandon stopped. Ben was another story...he didn't have much hair and he was one when he started biting so I just ended up stopping nursing. Hope you figure something out soon! I can't believe he made you bleed!!!
Ouch!!!! No fun! I got lucky, cause my three didn't bite much. I do remember one time Andrew did...I shrieked really loud, and he started crying! Seems funny now! =) I don't think he did it again...I wonder why?? LOL Hopefully Lincoln stops...he seems little for you to have to stop nursing him. =( Anyways, good luck!!!
Maria, where were you when we were letting him chew our fingers to the bone?!?! I didn't even think about that! Of course if we let him bite our fingers he will think he can bite wherever!! I should have known...
Well, lucky for me, he is used to taking a bottle and likes it just as well, (I have been giving him one every week or so since he was born... sometimes with formula/ sometimes with breast-milk.) so I am going to pump and have him drink bottles except for at night when he has never bitten me anyways! I did that yesterday an it worked out pretty well. He was happy and I was happy!! =)
Hmmmm....I was probably at home telling Miah....NO! Don't bite! LOL So far he's only bitten his Dad real hard. I'll see that big old mouth open and goes toward my shoulder and stop him (I think he's part vampire ;) ) He didnt start really biting until he was getting his back molars (he's working on teeth #9 and #10) I'm just glad he hasnt tried to bite anyone else.
Well, can't help you there Shan, I never got past day 7 in breastfeeding! I am sure you could google some tips....anything will be better than Israel's idea! LOL!
Maria- Miah has 9-10 teeth??? Whoa! No wonder he is wanting to bite, his teeth must be constantly bugging him! Elaina is only working on number 5 right now! Then again she didn't get any until 9 months and then all 4 came in at once...poor sweetie!

Revenge of the teeth!
I think the little cannibal has been biding his time to avenge the time you "toothed" him in the forehead.
He was helpless then, but now he had the weapons to fight back.
Helpful tip:
Soaking your nipples in picklebrine five hours a day will make them bulletproof. It's either that or shoot him with pepper every everytime he offends.
