This is one very beautiful baby!! And he is just the right size, not so tiny that you are afraid to hold him, and not sooooo big that Jeshanah would never want to have a baby again!

I can't wait to hold him!

Great shots! I love the one of just his feet...

He doesn't look like Zion at all.

He's actually pretty cute.

This kid is a Winner! I've never seen a cuter baby in my whole life! What sweet cheeks! Look at that beautiful hair! Check out those adorable feet! Definitely the best looking newborn of 2009!

Fat kid contest???

How about Most Beautiful Cousins Contest? They are both adorable.

Danny and Joanna's baby is really pretty and you can tell that she is a darling little girl, even if she didn't have girly things on.

Did you notice that the cousins have hands that look the same? Long, long fingers! And I think their foreheads and eyebrows are similiar. However, she might end up a redhead, and Lincoln is going to be much darker.

Course, I have seen babies with real dark hair lose it all, and it comes back in blond.

Anyway, I declare them both winners!

They are most definitely both winners. But Eliya was not a newborn in 2009, she is topping the charts for the 2008 most beautiful newborns in the world, but for 2009, Lincoln's got it hands down.

Little Eliya is a doll! She is adorable. She wins the girl category ;o) Joanna looks great too!

Lincoln doesn't look all that dark to me, but of course I am coming from a Mexican perspective.

The real way to tell how dark he is going to be is to look at his testicles. If they are bubblegum pink he's gonna be a white guy no doubt. If they are brown or purplish he's gonna have some color.

The testicles never lie.

The one thing that concerns me about Lincoln is that he has no eyes. I mean we have Chinese people in the family, but this is ridiculous, the Chinese genes can't be that strong, can they? Can they pass through by association? You better hope so, when it comes time for him to take his SATs.

I would put some pictures of my kids up but both of them were pretty ugly when they were born.

Gabriel had a big schnozz (kinda like Lincoln) so we called him "Baby Ruth" cuz he looked like Babe Ruth. (It was not a good look.)

What I wanna see are the pictures of Lincoln right after he came out, not just these glamour shots with his hair combed and everything. I wanna see him right after he went through the wringer, with his head all squashed. (especially if he has a huge Ramirez noggin.)

Cuz if you compare these glamour shots to the pics I snapped of my kids, my kids look like ugly monsters in comparison.

Finally I have to say that Zion was probably the cutest kid in the history of the world. He was just adorable...

and look what happened.

Well, I have never heard of the testicle rule of determination, but if you say so...

Lincoln isn't ready to open his eyes to the world yet - it is just too bright and COLD! 15 degrees below zero and he has to go out in the cold to go home!

I always said that every baby is beautiful in some way, but when one of my nephews was born, I was flipping through the new baby shots in the waiting room, and laughed until I cried! There were some of the ugliest baby pictures in that book. But then, often they take pictures when they are certainly not ready to have them taken.

Lincoln's photographer was good and they are really great shots!

So,show us your boys baby pictures.

By the way, was that one of your little guys singing Jingle Bells in the video right after Eliya's pictures? He is a cutie now!

BeccaHolsapple said...

Yes I saw that video too, he is so cute! That's Gabriel right?

And in honor of baby Lincoln's arrival ....

Abe Lincoln's top hat and suit were put on display at the Smithsonian yesterday.

How appropriate!

BeccaHolsapple said...

That's neat! I wonder if we could find a paper article about that to put in Shan's scrapbook :o)

It's Miguel singing Jingle Bells.

And about the testicles, that's pretty accuate from my experience with mixed baby boys.

It's 15 degrees below zero? And you guys wanted to go back to that god-forsaken place? You guys need to have your heads examined.

In Dante's Inferno, hell isn't hot, it's cold. And the further away you get from God's grace the colder it gets. So you guys literally live in hell on earth.

It's 75 degrees here in northern California. Paradise perfect weather.

My guess is Lincoln doesn't wanna open his eyes, cuz he knows he's in Ohio and there's nothing to see there anyway.

His brain isn't completely frozen yet, but in a few years it'll probably be so frost bitten he'll think Ohio is fit for human habitation too..

Lima Ohio

Currently: -4°F

Stockton CA

Currently: 68°F

Proof that God loves us

and Satan loves you...

Israel said...

Tucson Arizona

Currently: 77°F

What kind of morons leave Tucson to go to Ohio where it is 81 degrees colder?

Big morons!!

Israel said...

Want further proof that Lima Ohio is hell on earth?

The number "7" is an extremely Godly number and Tucson is twice blessed.

The number "4" is the number of perfection, which means that -4 is the opposite of perfection.

So numerology proves that Arizona is far superior to the god-forsaken hell-hole that is Ohio.

Spooky, huh?

Anonymous said...

Yes, but there are four letters in both "Lima" AND "Ohio." So that kind of throws out your little theory.

"Tucson" has six letters in it, and we all know what that means...

Israel said...

Not to get all spiritual on you or anything, but Brother Branham lived in Tucson because he was so impressed with its deeply spiritual natural beauty. He could have chosen anywhere and he picked Tucson.

Tucson is surrounded by seven mountain ranges and it is
one of the most incredibly beautiful places on earth.

Of course some people aren't attuned to things like that and that's why they live in Ohio.

And that's why people who are from their don't take kindly to people from places that are vastly inferior in every way complaining about Tucson.

Me. FTW!

Becca,

There is a picture and description of Abe's hat and suit on Yahoo News. You could print it out for the scrapbook.
