Today's fun fact, if you go 55 in a 40 m.p.h. zone, you will be ticketed. (Even if you've been doing it for 6 months. Eventually, those TPD guys'll catch on and get ya!!) So now, I get to go to work 4 days next week just to pay off my ticket!! Argh! You know that old saying, "Crime doesn't pay", so true. =(
On a completely separate note, I just walked outside barefoot to get the mail, and I'm pretty sure that I permanently scalded the bottoms of them... ouch!!

Another fun fact. If you zone out while driving and coast through a red light _right_in_front_of_ the Shawnee PD squad car, you will get a ticket.

Speaking of Israel, did you guys know I am teaching my mall neighbors' (who own Chopsticks Express) kid to speak English? I know, it's kinda scary, my grammar isn't the best, but their son just got here from China a few weeks ago and they thought I was their best option. I was definitely their cheapest. Sylvan wanted 4,000. They offered me 200 and I jumped at the chance! :) He seems to be a great kid, cute as a button and just turned twelve years old. He is a very quick learner, I've only been helping him about three weeks and he understands most of what I'm talking about. I had bro. Jeff Suchar bring his son Jeffrey in a couple days to be his friend, it was great. His name is Lee. His little cousin came with him and his mom. Her name is Elaine and she is four. I'm sure you'll find this hard to believe but I have somewhat adopted them. I took them and Janessa to the park for a couple hours the day before yesterday. Lee's parents didn't have American names yet, so they let me name them! I decided on Danny and Kate. They don't understand much yet, but they love it when I wave to them and say, "Hi, Danny! Hi Kate!"
Sorry about the long comment, but that is one of the things that's been keeping me busy lately.

We are related to Gabriel and Miguel. I am enjoying "Grandmothering" these kids since I never get to see Gabriel and Miguel except in pics.

Shan, I chose Kate because she is very pretty and looks like a Kate. Also, her sister in law, Karen, asked me to come up with something easy to say that had a good meaning. I found out Kate means pure by looking online. The same day Danny, who I had not named yet, was yelling like a crazy man at his brother in law. I don't know Chinese, but I'm sure he was cussing. Mary the candy store lady told me a while back he had been beating on his sister, Karen. Like he had her on the floor and was pummeling her face. I am trying to witness to the whole family. They are Budhist. I wanted to give him a good name that hopefully he will grow into, I found out Danny means God is my judge. Hopefully he will come to realize that and quit beating women. Mary and I thought he looked like a Danny and also it is easy for them to say.
