Jeshanah and Zion,

I am so HAPPY for you both! You will have a beautiful little one and he or she will bring you so much love and happiness!

And your mom is beyond EXCITED! I don't know how she kept it a secret!

I am spreading the news in the Armstrong family...

Hugs to you both,

Maria, are you for real?? So far, not lovin' the being pregnant thing so much... blah!

Can't wait for the baby, though. (I'm told it's all worth it in the end.)

Jeshanah & Zion -

Congratulations to you both!!! I'm so happy for you guys!! :)

So when are you due / how far along are you?

Sounds like you're not feeling too well...? Sorry to hear that, but hopefully things will improve soon. :)

I'm really happy for you guys!! :)

LoL....I had an easy pregnancy, but he made up for it on delivery! I liked feeling his kicks and knowing that God intrusted me with a little one. :) It is definately worth it!! Especially when their little face is looking at you and smiling. :)

I'm due January 19th, 2009. I'm in the middle of my 10th week. Looking foward to week 12 when I'm assured I'll stop feeling so ill. (Please, Please let it be so!!)

Oh, and special thanks to DLS for praying for me NOT to have my triplets, now I'll have to go though this all again. Argg!! =)

p.s. Don't I have the cutest baby ever?! How cute is it that it's already kicking around so much?! Fun! haha

The news was the greatest Mother's Day present ever. Having to keep it a secret until yesterday when you heard the baby's heartbeat was VERY HARD! This is definitely the cutest ultra-sound I've ever seen. Lots of action!

BeccaHolsapple said...

Yes! That baby is active!!! I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks with Ben and he just sat there.

Very cool! Congratulations to you guys. Sorry to hear about the sickness thing. Jess was so sick that I had to sleep on the floor (I toss and turn a lot in my sleep) beside the bed for six weeks. I hope Zion owns a good sleeping bag!

Pregnant???!!!

How did that happen???

Jeshanah said...

I finally found myself a poolboy....

Israel said...

Ooooohhh!!! Megaburn!!

Zion would have caught on too, if but I guess he didn't realize you guys didn't have a poll...

---

And Danny and Joanna are having a kid too, what are you guys, having some kind of contest?

---

But Seriously folks, who knew the new hovel would be so romantic?

Jeshanah said...

I'm more creative with my house's names than to repeat the same one. This is not the "new hovel", this is the homestead! Get it right, man!

Congratz!

Well this is it suckas!!

I hope you guys enjoyed your honeymoon because it ain't about you no more, after that wrinkled little raisin is born it's gonna be all about that pooping, puking blob o' protoplasm for the next 25 years.

It's gonna be pain, baby, pain! Followed by years of dread and worry, followed by abandonment in a nursing home and death.

You think Zion is hard to take care of? The little monster (let's hope its a boy) ain't gonna wanna hear no complaining about how nauseous he made you, he's just gonna wanna get fed and have his rear end wiped in an endless cycle for years and years. Then the snot-nosed tyke is gonna want tuition money (hopefully) and be sucking your blood and money for even longer.

Like Jerry Sienfeld says, you just replaced yourself and you're looking at your replacement. That's why babies learn to wave bye, bye so easy because they are telling you that you are no longer relevant , you've been replaced and your days at the top of the totem poll are over.

Ha! I can't wait to watch the show!! This is gonna be good.

----

When are you gonna find out the gender?

Elisabeth (Bauer) Holsapple said...

Well, well - isn't Israel just full of sunshine & smiles...

Don't mind him Jeshannah - he's just jeleous he can't be pregnant! :) hahaha

Jeshanah said...

haha. We're not gonna find out the gender. And if we do, we aren't gonna tell anyone! =P

Well, Israel made me laugh if that counts for anything! :)

BeccaHolsapple said...

Yeah, I'll have to admit that I laughed too. Kind of a cynical look at parenthood, but funny nonetheless.

Unknown said...

Israel, that was pretty durn funny.
I can't make any assessment on its accuracy due to lack of experience. Even if it is fraction as bad as you describe, I am content to remain inexperienced.

Sharla said...

Israel's crazy. This is what it's all about! You haven't lived until you've had your own child and realize that you can love someone else much more than yourself. There is no joy in this life like rearing a child that does you proud! Brother Branham said living for others is looking heaven in the face. Remember that while changing those unbelievably dirty diapers and when your sitting up all night when they're sick!

Israel secretly agrees with me I know, he's just to macho to ever admit it. :)

Sharla said...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HEEPIE-BAPPLE!(For anyone who hasn't visited Becca's blog today).

BeccaHolsapple said...

Well, I agree with you Sharla. I have found that being a mother is the most fulfilling thing I have ever experienced and probably ever will. I am sure that Shan and Zion will love it and will be great parents.

Hey Shan & Zion! I know its been ages since I've been on here, but I was thinking about ya, and decided to see what you've been up to. Quite a bit from what I can tell! Little Shan is growin' up! You've come a long way from popcorn & broken noses! WOW! We are so happy for you both, and look forward to meeting your new little one. Maybe I'll log on more often! CONGRATS!!

Israel,

I just have to meet you sometime! You definitely make me laugh...

I know you don't know me, but I grew up with Sharla, which was a real fun time!

Anyway, I just have to ask? What does a wrinkled little raisin who used to be a pooping, puking blob o' protoplasm do to become a successful lawyer?

Eat raisin bran?

Keep us smiling...

Jeshanah said...

ROFL, Cyndi! Good question!!!!! ???

Sarah said...

DLS says, you're welcome....and now that he knows his prayers have such effect he will try praying for septuplets next time!! =)

Hey Shan!! Sorry it's been so long since I posted on here. I thought I had an account, but it never would take what I thought my password was, and so I just decided to open another one. Anyways....just wanted you to know that we are SOOOO happy for you!!!!! Hope you do get to feeling better soon! I know firsthand how miserable that feels! It should get better soon....unless you're one of those women that end up feeling sick the whole 9 months. Oh. Oops. I'm probably not helping much, am I?? =/ Just kidding, really I'm sure it will be much better soon, and you'll have a lovely 2nd trimester!

Wish you were going to be here tomorrow! Jess and I are going to take the girls to see the new American Girl movie,"Kit". Since you got to be with us in Chicago, it would've been so fun for us to all go!! We'll be thinking of you!!

One of the many things I really appreciate about Cyndi is that she, like most people our age, definitely knows how to spell definitely.

Jeshanah said...

ouch! and, you kind of sounded like Rainman there. =)

Sharla said...

lol, definitely goin' to K-Mart!
