OK, I wasn't really dragged, it was my idea, lemme explain.... Sometime in March, my brother Jariah called and said we should all move to Columbus(2 hours away) so the guys could get better jobs. I said that's a great idea, but lets go to Tucson(36 hours away) instead!! (Zion's been wanting to for years.) Everything worked out really fast, so two months later, we were on our way!
This is such a dry place and we don't have ac, so I get all stuffed up and can't breath. I feel like there is no oxygen getting to my brain, which usually gives me a migraine. It's probably all in my head, but I seriously oftentimes feel like I am not getting any air, ever since moving here. =)
I feel your pain, Shanny. I have always have difficulty breathing in high altitude and/or low humidity. When I visited my brother in Montana way back when, I thought I was going to die. Great Falls is another 1,000 feet above sea level than Tucson is, so the effect was a little more pronounced. I think Tucson is just high and dry enough that it isn't an overwhelming difficulty, but it does wear on you.
For my money, it doesn't get any better than living next to a major river and one of the Great Lakes on land that was once the Black Swamp. I'll take the 90 percent humidity at 600 feet above sea level any day.
LOL, you'd never last if you tried to spend a whole summer in Ohio. Everyone's bodies are different and they react differently to varying climates. Some people can't handle the Ohio humidity. Me, I think it's great.
OK new theory: Women from humid climates are crazy.
Hmm, interesting theory. Although I think it may be more of an issue of chromosomes than of climate. Given your theory, it would be erroneous to assume that if women from humid climates are crazy, then women from arid climates are not. Either way, I'm buying.
After living at altitudes there in AZ of 7,000 ft.(and then some) most of my life; I found it rather hard to breath the first couple of summers here in Ohio. I think the 90% humidity was rather a shock to my body after being used to basically 0%. But you do adjust, now I hardly seem to notice it unless it's a really, really, muggy day here. I rather like the effect it has on my skin as opposed to the dry alligator skin that could never get enough lotion I usually had while in AZ.
Anyways, Ohio and Arizona are both such great states, just for very different reasons. At least in my book!!! =)

Maybe I'll just amend the theory to say that women from humid climates are "crazier."
And women from climates that alternate between freezing cold and horribly humid are not only "crazier," they tend to be "pasty" and not at all "tasty."

There may not be much humidity here in AZ, but the temperature fluctuation here is more annoying than it is in Ohio. Here, it fluctuates 20 degrees between day and night, but in Ohio it only fluctuates about 5 degrees from day to night. The weather does change with the seasons, but it takes about 3 months for each different season.
Also, I am ten times 'pastier' here then I ever was in Ohio.
