Sorry I haven't posted for a while; my internet has been acting kind of hokey. Here is what I have been up to lately.

On Friday evening, we were invited over to Brother Mark and Sister Tina Steinke's house for dinner. (They attend our new church.) Brother Mark Strohkorb(the pastor) and his wife Jenna were also in attendance. Sister Tina made a delicious dinner with grilled pork chops, yummy twice baked potatoes and some other savory sides, all without using butter, eggs or milk so that Brandon could have some of everything!! She was so sweet to have planned ahead like that!! After dinner, we all fellowshipped around the table for a while getting to know each other, before finally heading home. It was really a lot of fun!

The following day, we went to Elijah's football game. It was his team, the Wildcats, playoff game. While Elijah and his teammates did an awesome job playing, unfortunately, the other team came out with the victory to go onto the finals.

After the game, the 6 Ramirez and 3 Holsapples(that makes 9, Jariah... ((Inside joke) haha) present went out to eat at Applebees.

Sunday after church we went out to eat with another couple that we just met that also go to our new church. Herb and Anna... I can't remember there last name. They seem like a really nice couple and they crack me up. (1. He is a complete Jonathan Jenkins double and 2. They ride a motorcycle to church!!! LoL)

They actually own a little townhouse not very far from where we currently live, but far enough that it doesn't feel scary, and we might rent it when we get back from Ohio. =)

Renting anything where you aren't scared would be a good thing. I am glad to hear you guys are out having some fun. :)

Please, please tell me Zion and Josh weren't those guys you see on TV, in the stands at a game, talking on the cell phone and waving at the camera.

Please.

ESPN Page 2 conducted a poll of sports fans, asking them what were the most irritating things at sporting events.

No. 1, with 3,300 votes, was people talking on their cell phone and then waving to the camera.

As Jeremy Shifton, of Hauppauge, N.Y., put it, "If I wanted to see idiots waving frantically, I would watch people attempt to skydive without a parachute."

Of course, if it was a UofA game, there probably weren't more than five or six people watching anyway.

;-)

That guys is called "Imbe-cell" (The fan on the phone waving to his buddies at home (coined by Steve Rushin of Sports Illustrated.)

I prefer the term "Vidiot."

I love Steve Rushin.

Well he's married to Rebecca Lobo who is about as tall as you are, so you can't have him.

Yeah, Josh was the guy standing up and waving while on the cell phone, and Zion was the guy sitting beside him and waving his hat around. They both looked like idiots, or vidiots.... whatever.
