OK, I wasn't really dragged, it was my idea, lemme explain.... Sometime in March, my brother Jariah called and said we should all move to Columbus(2 hours away) so the guys could get better jobs. I said that's a great idea, but lets go to Tucson(36 hours away) instead!! (Zion's been wanting to for years.) Everything worked out really fast, so two months later, we were on our way!

Also, please keep my mother-in-law, Olga, in your prayers. She is in a heart hospital, and will most likely be having heart surgery in the next couple days.
Another prayer request, for Becca's Dad, Raynald, he is very sick and the doctors don't know what it is.
We are planning alot of fun stuff for next week, John's coming for a visit, and we have things planned for almost everyday! Old Tucson, Sabino Canyon, Renaissance Festival in Phoenix, Baseball games... It should be a blast!!!

Well, I just got back from my first ever Ramirez Family Reunion!! Like all family reunions, it was not without it's share of dull moments and awkward silences... but for the most part, it was pretty interesting. One of the more entertaining moments of the weekend was when Josh and Zion did tug-of-war against a group of about six or seven 'purple shirt' females, (each section of the family had a different t-shirt color, the Ramirez' were the green team) and after about 3 seconds of tugging, the guys let go of the rope and let the poor girls fly. They fell down pretty hard, which made BeccaR and I both look around for some sort of hole to climb into, but it was actually a quite comical moment. =)
The downside was that I had a headache most of the day. (I really need to go get a new contact...)

I was awakened by Becca (I won’t say what time….) running into my room, saying “QUICK, WE’VE GOT TO CLEAN! Becca R. just called and said they are stopping by with a realtor to look at the house!” Now normally that wouldn’t be THAT big of a deal, but we had been out of fabric softener and Bounce sheets for almost a week, and dishwasher detergent for a few days to boot. The place was a wreck.
We (frantically) cleaned for about 10 minutes, then I called Becca R. back to find out what time they were coming. (We didn’t know if they were waiting outside, or coming in 3 hours, or what.) She said that they would be here in about an hour. Phew. We were able to get the house looking decent enough, and even managed to get ourselves dressed!
Fed-Ex arrived during the whirlwind of cleaning; Becca ran out, signed for it and brought in my package. It was nice big box, just waiting to be ripped into. Unfortunately, I had to wait because I was still in my jammies and we had too much to get done for me to take a break. So I waited.
Josh and Becca arrived first, about 20 minutes before the realtor showed up. (Josh even helped us clean up by throwing out the big container of disgusting rainwater from my bedroom… I think it might have had more to do with making the house not look like it was falling apart than actually wanting to clean…) While we were waiting for the realtor, Becca R. noticed the box (it was really inconspicuous, sitting on the couch, I don’t know how see even saw it…) and asked if those were my famous dishes? I was like, Yes! They just arrived, but I haven’t had a chance to open them yet… you guys have to see these! (Or something along those lines… Becca, Becca R., and Josh can verify or deny…) I then proceeded to open up the first box inside the big box, which just happened to be a mug. (Wrong choice!)
I held it out for all to see, but no one “Ooohhed”, and “Ahhhed” like they were supposed to and Josh even kinda made fun of my beautiful new mug!! I was shocked, but I had yet to do the truly shocking thing of that day. Josh took the mug and pretended to throw it on the ground. He then handed it back to me and without even thinking about it, (because I have so much faith in my beautiful new dishes…) I proceeded to drop it. Unfortunately, the handle broke into two pieces right before our eyes. I was completely shocked and sickened at what I had just done.
I knew that those dishes normally don't break very easily, so later that day, I dropped that mug again (a couple times) and nothing happened to it. The handle was just too weak to handle the fall.
Anyway... that’s all I have to say about that. =)
Oh, and I didn't even go pick up my pictures that day! But a few days later, when I did go pick them up, they were all high gloss (gag) so I had to return them, then reorder through one-hour photo because that is the only way to get them in the mat finish that I like. (They work much better and look alot nicer in scrapbooks...) Life is such a pain. =)
