I had my 6 week post-pregnancy Doctors visit today. Dr. Scott said everything looks great and I can start working out all I want to now, he just warned me not to overdo it if I start having pain or anything. I'm very happy because I have been wanting to do crunches for weeks now but I was a little apprehensive to do that without consent from my Doctor first!!

I want to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight like tomorrow... I have 16 pounds to go, I can lose that in a day, right??? I miss my clothes really bad, right now I have just 1 jean skirt and 1 dress skirt that fit. That's not enough... especially since I have an entire closet full of hardly worn, adorable winter clothes that are too tight!!!

So tomorrow I am going to start doing a pregnancy/ post-pregnancy exercise video that Becca loaned me while I was expecting. Once I can do that I'll move onto something harder until I trim the fat and can wear my clothes!! (Maybe I'll down to an even smaller size and get all new clothes! Wouldn't that be fun?!!)

On a separate note, Lincoln is now approximately 12 pounds. (I weighed him at my appointment.) He's getting cuter all the time (looking more and more "Holsapple".... haha) and has really kissable little cheeks. He's really Daddy's boy and likes Zion to hold him more than just about anything, especially late at night when he's getting really tired (Like now). Zion has to walk around and bounce with him for him to settle down. I have tried to do the same thing with him because Zion's back starts hurting after a while and Link doesn't stand for it. Only Daddy will do. =) Lucky for me. ;)

Also, he is going to be a piano player... we were listening to some classical music and he was moving his fingers like he was playing already. On top of that, he's a genius and is already talking... we're just sure of it. We were all laying on our bed last evening and Zion and I kept saying "Hi" in high pitched voices over and over again cause it make Lincoln smile so much, plus he kept moving his mouth trying to make the same facial expressions we were and it was just adorable, then after about 5 minutes he said, "hi". He's so awesome. I don't know why we waited so long to have one!!! We'll probably become rich and famous since he's like a prodigy with talking so young and being a concert pianist and all.

HaHa!! You guys are such first-time parents! =) But that's okay, you're entitled to be a little googoo-gaga, I think everyone is with their first. So enjoy....you'll blink your eyes and he'll be starting school. It's crazy, and it just gets faster the more you have.

He certainly is a cutie though! Anytime you need a baby sitter, give me a call! =)

"Hi" That's it?

He squeaked out a two letter sound that probably means (to him) "a carbonated beverage would be just awesome right now - and get me a slice of cheese pizza while you're at it."

Write back when Lincoln burps a squeak that sounds like: "The energy equivalence of an object is its mass times the speed of light squared"

Then, yea. I'll concede he's a genius.

Until then, he's only in my "Top 3 Cutest Boy Babies Evar" list.

Zion was also a child prodigy at the piano. When he was around three years old would hear a song on the radio walk over to the piano and start picking out the melody by ear until he got it. He was never taught to do it, he just did it.

Zion was also the cutest kid I have ever seen in my life. he was unbelievably cute.

So I was convinced he was a genius and would end up going to Harvard and put us all to shame.

Then he started hanging out with people from Ohio and the rest is his story.

Shan - he is def. one of the cutest babies!! :) Since I'm not around him alot, I can't & won't contest his genius - although as his mother I'm sure you know best! :)

Thanks so much for letting me hold him Sunday - ANYTIME you need help in that departement - my arms are always open! :)

Israel,
I can still do that on the piano. I haven't lost that ability, but its just a matter of trial and error till I get it right.

Yeah well it's not as impressive now Zion that you are an old geezer.

If you had progressed to concert pianist, maybe...
